According to WHO, more than 4 million people die prematurely every year from illnesses attributable to indoor air pollution arising from traditional cooking stoves.
Unfortunately, traditional stoves are the prevalent cooking and heating method among communities in Nepal's red panda range. These stoves also require a lot of fuelwood — up to 33 kg a day — causing deforestation and loss of habitat.
To date, we’ve distributed 180 improved cooking stoves to Forest Guardians (FGs), herders, homestay owners and other local people. Our goal now is to continue this impact by providing 175 more stoves to community members in red panda habitat. You can help us make a difference for the health of families in Nepal while protecting red panda habitat!

Thanks to Constellation Culinary Group, all new members of our monthly giving program will have their gifts matched x2 up to $1,500. Sign up for $21 a month and it will become $42 a month!
